In 1940, the boom of the tango in Buenos Aires, was called the Golden Decade, so Buenos Aires begin to be called the "City of Tango”. Tango Porteño recreates in a magical and mysterious way that time in a wonderful space where all the characters live in the Decade of Gold of tango. The great orchestras of Canaro, Fresedo, Piazzolla, De Caro, and of course the unforgettable Troilo and Pugliese among others. Tango Porteño recalls that essence and crystallizes it in a unique place, a building that used to be a cinema-theater owned by the Metro Goldwyng Meyer company.
